JTILTD Management Philosophy

JTILTD's philosophy is to strive to achieve an organization in which all employees and associates can develop to their full potential. Teamwork is an essential element of JTILTD's operating philosophy, believing that a well coordinated team accomplishes far more than the sum of individual efforts. Our approach fosters creativity, cooperation and trust in the pursuit of the common goal of providing superior leadership and team development programs. JTILTD is dedicated to developing senior leaders through professionally delivered programs and products focused on:

  1. Team Roles, Work Roles and changing organizational shape theories, based on the work of Belbin and Associates and Barrie Watson.
  2. Action Learning, based on the philosophy and teachings of Dr. Reg Revans

Current and future members of the management team are responsible and accountable for:

  1. Owning and presenting their own leadership development specialty programs through regularly scheduled seminars, workshops and/or retreats. Programs that will actively support complementary offerings of JTILTD and its members.
  2. Fulfilling the duties of a specific institute management position.
  3. Being an active JTILTD management team member responsible for setting and actioning the future direction & growth of the institute.
  4. Promoting and contributing to the self managing team philosophy of JTILTD.

Goals

Our goals for the first five years are Quality, Growth, and Profitability. JTILTD is focusing on a number of short and long term strategic goals and objectives. The management team has set these out in an internal working document where performance is measured against objectives and action taken where necessary.
